BV and MV valves are used in small water supply and pumping systems to prevent backflow when the pump is turned off. These valves are also installed in systems where pumps are arranged in parallel and as foot valves to ensure proper suction conditions for the pumps.
Valves without springs are designed solely for vertical installation, while valves with springs can be installed in any position within the pipe system.
